English - Day 4 - Grace Nichols Poetry: Hummingbird

Watch the following YouTube videos of Hummingbords doing their thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiB6wWm1u44 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aPcMgSVmCI As you watch these videos, write down different verbs, adverbs, nouns and adjectives that pop into your head, creating a word bank. Then, listen to Grace Nichols read her poem Hummingbirds and add more words to your word bank: https://vimeo.com/336236995 Today's challenge is to create your own "Hummingbord" poem! Use your word bank to create any style of poem about a Hummingbird! You could write it on paper and talk a photo of just the poem (not you holding the paper!) You could use the drawing mode :draw: and add a label to type your words. Add more labels with emojis to decorate! You could choose to upload a note and type your poem. Don't forget to voice record yourself reading the poem you have created.
