Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity encourages children to compare number sentences which are presented in a familiar tens frame format. The children need to draw the correct comparison symbol to complete the comparison statement. The final page is a challenge for your more able children to create their own representation of two number sentences to compare. This is simple to delete if it is inappropriate for your class
