Student Instructions
1. Take a 
of your favorite page of your book.
2. Use 
tool to add your connection or why you like this page.
3. Use the : label: tool to add another sentence using one of these starters:
*I learned...
* I wonder...
* This reminds me of...
* I want to learn more about...
*The pictures help me understand...
4. Use the 
tool to underline the part of the text you connect with or is your favorite.
5. Use 
tool to add 1-2 emojis to describe how you or the character felt.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
When the students choose an emoji, they will need to hide the keyboard, then choose style. The second "style" is the transparent background. This will make the emojis appear as in the example. (instead of with a white translucent background)
