Many of you are looking forward to seeing the movie The One and Only Ivan based on the book The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. Today I'd like to share a picture book that Katherine Applegate wrote on the same topic. After listening to the story and hearing from a zookeeper that worked with Ivan you will be sharing your thinking. 1. Click to open activity 2. Watch the video on the first page of the story being read aloud 3. Watch the video of the zookeeper talking about Ivan on the second page. You may want to pause and take notes as you listen 4. Complete the organizer on page 3 using the or tools. If you would rather do the organizer in your notebook that is fine. Then you would use the tool to take a picture of your work for page 3 5.
