Some letters are tall letters - we say they are 'head and body' letters. Some letters are short letters - we say they are 'body only' letters. Some letters hang below the line - we say they are 'body and tail' letter. The word "hay" is an example of a word that has a head and body letter (h), a body only letter (a) and a body and tail letter (y). You can see from the cat in the picture where the head, body and tails of letters sit on the line. Tap on the tool to move each letter to the correct box on the slide. When you have moved all the letters, use the empty box at the bottom of the box to tell me what you notice about capital letters.
