Student Instructions

Here you see lots of silver coins. Your task is to create different money values by crossing off the coins in different colours. You can only use each coin ONCE! The amounts you need to create are: $1.00 - cross off each coin in BLUE $1.50 - cross off each coin in ORANGE 135c - cross off each coin in PURPLE 80c - cross off each coin in GREEN 25c - cross off each coin in YELLOW $1.30 - cross off each coin in PINK $2.40 - cross off each coin in RED 105c - cross off each coin in BLACK. EXTENSION ACTIVITY: Once you have finished, calculate how much money is left. Tell your teacher the correct amount left over to get a prize!
