Student Instructions

Complete this worksheet (and add a voice recording to explain what you have written) The scientific method is the procedure scientists use to help explain why things happen the way they do. When people are trying to understand the world around them, they often come across problems that they just don't know the answers to. This is where the logical step-by-step method of scientific problem solving comes into play. Scientific experiments help us to better understand the natural world and require careful, systematic planning through the steps of the scientific method. In this graphic organizer, students will design an experiment based on observations and/or prior research. They'll ask a scientific question, identify their variables, outline their procedure and record their real or imagined findings. Science is ongoing, so their experiment will end with questions for further research and next steps. https://www.flocabulary.com/graphic-organizers/
