LI: Students are to plan, structure and carry out a tour of the city. Students are to use positional language to describe various landmarks in relation to others.
Planning a guided (or , or
) tour of Melbourne using the Mini Melbourne world. Who is your tour for; families, school excursions, or International visitors? How will they travel; walk, tram or train?
Make sure they have researched interesting facts and information about your chosen 6 key sites, buildings and spaces they take their tour group through. Start the tour at Flinders St Station as the first landmark. Flinders St Station is centrally located and many landmarks of Melbourne are readily accessible from there.
