Student Instructions

Hello 1st graders! You all rocked lesson 1 on using lines and shapes to create your fishbowls. Today we are going to outline and color our creations using mixed media. Mixed media means that you use more than one material to color or design your work. It's ok if you do not have access to all of these materials. Choose what works best for you- just try to use at least two. **Remember-- You can create a fauvist, or wild beast type of work! Try using colors that aren't natural to what you are coloring!** What you might want to use: 1. Crayons 2. Colored Pencils 3. Markers 4. Paint 5. Ink 6. Oil Pastels 7. Graphite 8. Glitter 9. Collage papers 1. Please outline your picture first. You can use a Sharpie, black marker, black crayon, or black colored pencil. 2. Choose at least two different materials to use to color your picture. 3. Fill each space of your drawing, while showing good craftsmanship. 4. When you are finished, please upload to Seesaw! Have Fun! Mrs. Lukes
