I am thinking of an object that I can hold in my hands. This object is in the shape of a sphere and it can fall through baskets. I can bounce, throw, toss, and dribble this object. Some people can even spin it around on their finger! This object is loved by people of all ages and thousands of people gather to watch others play with it. Can you guess my object?

Guess My Object: Descriptive Writing

We are spending so much time in our homes. Choose an object in your house and write a descriptive paragraph describing this mystery object. Then, read the other descriptions from classmates on Seesaw and see if you can guess their objects. 1. Think of an object. How would you describe that object? Can you describe the object without saying the name of it? How does it feel? Is it heavy or light? It is colourful? What shape is it? 2. Click and choose 3. Write a descriptive paragraph about your object. Begin with a bang, include descriptive details and add a closing sentence. Remember to write your paragraph without mentioning the object's name. 4. Check your work for the required capital letters, punctuation and spelling. 5: Read and record what you written and include lots of expression in your voice. 6. 7. You're done! Now, go to the journal feed to see if you can guess the objects your classmates have described. *Remember to write your comment in a complete sentence. (I think your object is a ____.
