The Future of Farming - Vertical โ†• Farms run by AI & Robots๐Ÿค– This activity will involve you researching Farming techniques. Firstly, go to the link๐Ÿ”— on page 1 in the example pages. Watch๐Ÿ‘€ the video: AI and Robots -run vertical Farms. Then in seesaw tap on the add button and look at the first page : Listen & Respond / future of farming questions. Read the questions then using the 3dots recording respond to each question and put your recording in the correct numbered speech bubbles. On page 2 in the student response pages , you need to create a multimedia research project on Vertical Farming. On page 3, you need to create a multimedia research project on Mixed Farming. There is a link๐Ÿ”—on page 2 in the example pages to help your research. On page 4, you will need to compare and contract what you have found out about the two different types of farming. Create a presentation that shows what is similar and different about the two styles of farming and finally explain which one you think will be best suited to our future needs of farming and feeding the world. Activity purpose: introduce students to technologies in farming (specifically vertical farming concepts) Have them compare - past/present/ future farming processes and procedures for food production.
