Student Instructions
Today you are going to practise reading aloud the poem 'The Kraken' written by Jack Prelutsky.
This poem is quite dramatic- so look for parts where you can use some expression in your voice.

2. Listen to recording of the teacher reading the poem on the first slide 3 times.
- First time, just listen to the teacher read.
- Second time, read along with the teacher.
- Third time, read along with the teacher.
3. Then, go to the next 
and practise reading the poem out loud by yourself.
4. When you are feeling confident, use the 
to record yourself reading. Remember if you make a mistake you can have another go.
5. Then, use the
