Student Instructions

Today you are going to practise reading aloud the poem 'The Kraken' written by Jack Prelutsky. This poem is quite dramatic- so look for parts where you can use some expression in your voice. 1. Click the add 2. Listen to recording of the teacher reading the poem on the first slide 3 times. - First time, just listen to the teacher read. - Second time, read along with the teacher. - Third time, read along with the teacher. 3. Then, go to the next pages and practise reading the poem out loud by yourself. 4. When you are feeling confident, use the mic to record yourself reading. Remember if you make a mistake you can have another go. 5. Then, use the label tool to answer the questions. 6. Finally, when you have finished click the check to submit your work. Remember, you can practise as many times as you need and record mic as many times as you like!
