You have learned to compare characteristics of weather in different regions. For example, in Georgia we sometimes have severe weather and tornadoes. When there is a severe weather or tornado warning, we use precautions to stay safe.
Challenge!!!!
A tornado is coming!
Watch the Tornado safety video .
Design
structure to protect your toy!
Use materials at home to build a structure around your toy to protect it from a tornado.
Test your structure by blowing air on it to see if the structure can stand up to the wind.
Take a picture
of your structure.
Complete the reflection page. Did your design work? What might you change next time to keep your toy safe?
Have fun!
