Fraction stained glass window using Halves Thirds and Fourths

Student Instructions

We are going to create a stained glass window with the following fractions. 1/2. 2/2, 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, 1/4, 2/4.3/4.& 4/4 1. Use the thin highlighter to shade the stained glass the correct fraction colors. 2. Make sure to look at 👀 and listen to 👂the instructions on the example picture 3. Create the flower with the colors assigned to each flower part. 4. On the last slide you may design your own colored flower by movingthe fractions where you wish them to show and then coloring with the highlighter 5.Click the green check to send this in.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

On student slides #2 and #3 there are two different flowers, one more complicated than the other for differentiation if you wish to copy this and delete either #2 or #3 for student assignments.Thanks to Tania Woelfle for idea and flower picture
