(S4) Selfie Science: Make a Solid Chatter (Matter Notebook #4)

The common states of matter are described as solids, liquids, and gases. Solids are a form of matter that has a definite shape and takes up a definite amount of space. The purpose of this activity is to animate a solid using ChatterPix. Solids have a lot to chatter about... * do not change shape easily * will not allow another solid to pass through them easily * are visible * take up space (definite volume) * have mass * becomes liquid when heated to the melting point * remains solid when cooled * have particles that are packed closely together and in a regular pattern * have particles that vibrate in their spot 1. Think 💡of a solid to animate. 2. Open ChatterPix. 3. Take a photo fo your solid. 4. Draw a mouth on your solid. 5. Record facts about solids. 6. Save to your camera roll. 7. Click Add on this activity.
