Student Instructions

Bob Ross was an iconic American artist, known for his television show, “The Joy of Painting.” Take a look at the Keynote provided to learn about the history of Ross. This project is a two part project. This week we will learn about Bob Ross, and take photos of trees. Next week, we will learn some basic photo editing. Directions: 1. Look at the entire Keynote about Bob Ross. 2. Take 3-5 photos of trees. 3. Make sure your photos include only nature. Nothing man made should be in your photo. No houses, cars, street signs, etc. 4. Upload your photos as an album to Seesaw. To create an album, there is a small circle at the bottom of each photo. Click on that circle to add that photo to your album. Scroll to the next photo you want in the album, and do the same thing. Tips for success: 1. Make sure you tap the screen on your iPad to focus your image. 2. Try zooming in, or looking at different angles, so you can avoid unwanted man made background images. 3. Sometimes the beauty in an image comes from showing part of the subject matter, not the entire subject matter.
