Instructions for Pupils

Click add Page 1: Listen to the video to learn about two dimensional shapes Page 2: Use the photo tool to take pictures of real objects that are a circle, square, triangle and rectangle Page 3: Spin the spinner and use the move tool to sort the pictures Page 4: Check to see if your answers on page 3 are correct Page 5: BONUS: Build a house with the move tool After you complete each page, click check Parent Why: Children learn about the attributes of two dimensional shapes as a beginning geometry skill. In addition to being vital to math learning, 2D shapes are important for art and life skills. Shapes are the basis of many early drawing and painting lessons, as well as being a handy way for non-artists to draw recognizable objects like stick people (circles and lines) and houses (a triangle on top of a square).
