Instructions for Pupils
We are learning to challenge our thinking.
This year we will be exploring Monochromatic colour schemes in art. Let's get started on discovering what it's all about.
1. Watch the
instruction video
2. Gather your materials - they all need to be one colour. Try green, purple, orange or blue so you can combine colours for more variety. Use colour pencils, markers, oil pastel, paint, coloured paper, even objects found around your house to create a composition.
3. When you have created your Monochromatic artwork take a careful
photo of it
4.
Upload your photo on Page 1 then on Page 2 complete the guided reflection.
Do you think you can enjoy yourself and create an interesting artwork using just one colour?
