Leonardo's Parachute

Find instructions to build Leonardo da Vinci's parachute on Get Epic, at https://www.getepic.com/app/read/5693, or on pages 90-91 in Maxine Anderson's "Amazing Leonardo da Vinci Inventions You Can Build Yourself." Follow the instructions carefully and build your parachute, using the supplies provided. Open a VIDEO app and record a reflection on your activity which addresses the following questions: 1) Do you think that Leonardo's parachute would be a safe parachute to use today? Why or why not? 2) How did the parachute perform for you when you tested it? 3) What could you do to improve on Leonardo's design? 4) Some people say that Leonardo da Vinci was "ahead of his time." What do you think this means? What evidence can you provide to prove that this is a true statement?
