Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

In our science unit "Processes that Shape the Earth" students learned about landforms and water forms. They made a map of an island with a minimum of 3 landforms and 2 water forms, and then created salt dough islands. Then they wrote about their islands. The writing included: What are your three landforms? Tell about them! What are your two water forms? Tell about them! Optional: Who lives on your island? Why? What is the weather like? Is there anything else you'd like to share about your island? The Seesaw activity should be completed after the islands are created and writing is complete, to share them with families before sending home.
