Today you will be a "Magical" Scientist. You will be able to observes, investigates describes, and discusses properties and characteristics of water and ice. 1. Tap on the link to watch and see what might happen in your experiment first. 2. Gather your materials: 2 to 3 bottles of water food coloring (optional) one large bowel ice cubes 3. Lay your bottles of water flat in the freezer for 2 and a half hours. Be sure to set an alarm as you don't want to leave them too long to start making ice. The experiment won't work if the water starts forming into ice. 4. After two and a half hours, put the ice in the large bowel and take the bottles out of the freezer. Be sure to tap on the add button on Seesaw so you can take videos or pictures of your experiment. 5. Twist the top of the bottle carefully and slowly pour the cold water on the ice in the bowel. What happens? Did you make a mountain of ice? Did it grow? If not, why not? Do you know? 6. After you post your pictures or video, tap on the check and submit to your journal.
