Choose a picture book to read with your partner. As you are reading, jot down examples of leadership you identify in your journal. Discuss with your partner: What leadership traits were shown in the story? Identify how each trait was shown. Use your Characteristics of Leadership handout to guide your discussion. Post: photo Take a photo of your book. label Label the character traits you found in the story. caption Write a caption explaining how the character was demonstrating each of the identified traits. mic Record a persuasive advertisement for your book. Try to convince other people to read your book.
