Let's practice our keyboard skills. Please write a letter to your hero to express gratitude and show appreciation for all the wonderful things they do. Don't forget to include your avatar. Remember, don't share personal information; only sign with your first name!
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
Have the class vote on a famous person you can contact online via Twitter. Google them. There is no guarantee they will reply. E.g. @gretathunberg or @taylorswift13. The children will write a message to their hero using the template. You can then Tweet a selection. This is a great way to have the children practice their keyboard skills. Students can write a letter to their hero to express gratitude and show appreciation for all the wonderful things they do.
