Compound machines are two or more simple machines put together to serve a purpose. Compound machines can be found all over our homes, schools and communities! Have you ever used a can opener? That's a compound machine! What about a wheelbarrow? That's another compound machine! What if you could build a compound machine to make a job or task in your life easier? How about a machine that can do your homework? Or one to clean your room? Steps: 1. Think about a task or job in your life that you would like to make easier! How could you build a pretend machine to make it easier? 2. Complete the slide about your machine by filling in the table using the label. 3. Complete the next slide where you will drawing a simple sketch of your machine. Dont forget to use the label to label the simple machine you will use to build your imaginary machine! 4. Click the check when you are done to submit your work. Have fun!
