In today’s activity we will be looking at how many in a 1/4. I have to share my counters out into 4 groups. The denominator is the bottom number and it tells me how many groups altogether. The top number is the numerator it tells me I have to count how many in 1 group. In this example I have 20 counters. In your’s you will work with a partner to share 16 counters.
