Student Instructions
There are shapes all around us, today we are going to try and find some! 1. Click to start your work 2. Click to insert a photo of an area of the class or space around you 3. Use the tools at the bottom of your page to highlight shapes that you can find in your photo 4. Record your reflections about the shapes you found using the You might also choose to add some text to describe your shapes using the like I have done in my example.
SKILLS ARE LINKED TO NZ CURRICULUM DOC. To extend students, you could have them highlight 3D shapes, add measurements and work out perimeter/area/volume. To differentiate for younger students, add a text box to the template with information you want them to find, e.g. _ faces, _ vertices, _ lines of symmetry.
