seesaw This week is about refining your performance and being a risk-taker to overcome your fears. Learning outcomes: 1. To Analyse an expert in order to gain ideas of what is involved in 'High-level Performance'. 2. To Perform your Flashmob using specific aspects of Dance routines taken from elite performances you have seen in recent weeks. (More confident performers may wish to use ideas such as Cannon, Mirror, and Shadow). 3.. To Improve your performance through the process of Reflection and Refinement. Both Individually and as a group. Activity 1 Watch the 2-minute example from the Greatest Showman Cast member. He has a great way of sharing his simple message. (Consider that he is not really making a routine, he's just telling a story). Activity 2 Complete your 3 moves and put them together in a dance or flashmob the best you can remember simple is sometimes the most effective. Activity 2 (Online Students) Make contact with another member of your class and share your dance moves with them. Allow them copy your moves and watch them demonstrate theirs. You should then have at least 6 ideas, from which to create your sequence of moves. If you have time, try to record a routine on your camera roll. At least you can Reflect and Refine to improve the quality of your work. Thank you for being creative, risk-takers, and working outside of your comfort zone. Your Growth Mindset has been evident to us all in the PE department. Keep it up!
