Student Instructions

Te Whare Tapa Whā is all about caring for our overall well-being (hauora). It is really important during these current times in lockdown to really look after all parts of our well-being. If one part of our hauora (well-being) is weaker then our whare is not as strong as it could be. The main parts of our whare that we think about are: Taha Tinana - our physical health Taha Wairua - our spiritual health Taha Hinengaro - our mental and emotional health Taha Whānau - our family and social health Whenua - the place we live and feel connection to INSTRUCTIONS: Watch the video that is attached. Kōrero (talk) about the sorts of things that really help us to feel good and think about how these help strengthen our well-being and good vibes!!! On the template provided on Seesaw OR on your own piece of paper, draw your whare and write or draw down the things that you have tried to make your whare walls stronger and your well-being healthier. The video has great examples in it!
