Thank You, Omu! Omu is the Igbo term for "queen." Vocabulary stew: A mixture of meat and other food cooked slowly scrumptious: tasty wafted: to move lightly through the air vendor: a person who sells things, especially on the street blue: sad or unhappy wondered: to be curious about something Click the Read-Along link in English to hear the book, “Thank You, Omu!" K-2: Add words and a picture in each rectangle to tell what you are thankful for. 3-5: Add words, phrases or sentences and illustrate a drawing in each rectangle to describe what you are thankful for.
