A word family consists of a group of words that share an ending part of a word. For example can, ran and pan. Do you hear how the words sound the same at the end? Remember that is a rhyming word, words that sound the same at the end of the word. Open the link and listen to the word family -an video. Listen for the ending sounds of the words. Remember if they sound the same then they are rhyming words. Open the worksheet and slowly read the story. Take your time and sound out the words. Then answer the questions by coloring the dot in front of the correct answer. Then use the microphone to record yourself reading the short story. Tap the green button to add it to your journal.
