Teachers, save “Synonyms for SAID” to assign it to your class.

1. With your group, find as many synonyms for the word SAID as you can. You may use your independent reading books or other books from the library/innovation space. (Please make sure to take ONE book at a time and to put it back where you got it from - use a block of wood.) 2. When time is up, ONE member of your group should the activity. 3. Using the feature, add your synonyms (one word in each label) for SAID and group them based on HOW the character said them. 4. Use the feature to record your WHOLE group reading the words (you may read them all together or take turns - be creative with your voices!) 5. 6. Check in with Ms. Beecher or Mrs. Porter so they can tag what you've done to each member of your group!
