Lesson 10 This can be used as a stand alone lesson- or as part of the sequence of lessons I have created. I have left the video- but always recommend that teachers create their own/or teach live for best practise. Students prefer and tune in better to their own teacher's voice. Learning Intention- is for students to make the connection between arrays/"groups of" to multiplication. Year 2 Victorian Curriculum-Australia Recognise and represent multiplication as repeated addition, groups and arrays *Representing array problems with available materials and explaining reasoning *Visualising a group of objects as a unit and using this to calculate the number of objects in several identical groups *I am currently upgrading the previous lessons and will be adding them as they are ready and meet the new standards.
