Student Instructions

1. Review the elements of plot in slides 1-5. 2. Follow along with the read-aloud of Ayden's Day at the Lake. Once you have read the story, use the move to drag the events to the correct spots on the plot diagram. (If you get stuck, remember you can always refer back to slides 1-5!). 3. Next, follow along with the read-aloud of What to Do with Fido. Using the label tool, type the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution of the story. 4. Once you have completed the plot diagrams for BOTH readings, tap the check to submit for grading.

This unit contains different activities, so the teacher may opt to assign portions of work at a time. If students complete parts of the assignment at a time, be sure to have them save their progress as a draft until they are ready to submit.
