Practice writing a summary after you read. Read one book from Raz-Kids or read a paper book at home. 1. add this activity to your journal. 2. Use the label to fill in the chart. 3. Use the mic to tell your summary as if you were speaking to a friend. 4. Use the label to write a paragraph. 4. When done, check to add this activity to your journal. Summarizing the main points of a story or article isn’t about giving as much information as possible. It is about touching on the most important points.
