We can use these colour-coded cue cards to ‘show’ how a sentence is made up. Each colour card represents a word or part of the sentence. Orange = WHO : a person or thing Yellow = WHAT DOING : an action Green = WHAT : an object Blue = WHERE : a place Learning Intention: We are learning to write a sentence using WHO, WHAT DOING, WHAT, WHERE Success Criteria: I can: - identify the parts of my sentence - order my sentence using WHO, WHAT DOING, WHAT, WHERE - read my sentence to check Independent activity: 1. Go through the pictures and listen to the recording explaining - Colourful Semantics 2. In the student template add to create your own sentence 3. move the words to put them in order of WHO, WHAT DOING, WHAT, WHERE 4. mic record yourself reading over the sentence 5.
