Student Instructions

Plastic Maths

1. Review your statistic calculations from our activity 'Do the Maths on Plastic Toothbrushes'. 2. How can you use some of these statistics to convince people to reconsider how they use plastic? 3. Research and record some ideas about ways to reduce/reuse/recycle plastic - for example did you know the plastic bread bag tags can be recycled? I didn't until a few weeks back. 4. Come up with an idea for a persuasive text using these statistics and ideas about how to Reduce/Reuse/Recycle in a multimodal way. It could be a digital presentation (iMovie, PicKids poster, Puppet EDU, Chatterpix) 5. Create your persuasive text and present on Seesaw.
