Parts of a Flower Plant

(1-LS1-1.), Use observations to describe patterns of what plants and animals (including humans) need to survive. (K-LS1-1.), Describe people, places, things, and events, using relevant details and expressing ideas and feelings clearly. (SL.1.4.)

Student Instructions

1. Watch the video to learn about the parts of a flower. 2. Color and use the pen tool to label the picture then use the shape code to find out the special word. 3. Students will use the move tool to label the parts of a plant. 4. Students will use the move tool to answer the questions. 5. Watch the video to move like a plant flower. 6. Students will use the pen tool to check off the boxes. 7. Sing the plant song.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Learning Objective: Students will identify and label the external parts of a flowering plant (roots, stem, leaves, petals) and describe how each part helps the plant survive and grow. In this activity, students will: Watch a video introducing the parts of a flower. Color and label plant parts using the Pen tool. Use the Move tool to identify plant structures and answer comprehension questions. Participate in creative movement to model how plants grow and function. Sing a review song to reinforce vocabulary. This lesson integrates science content, fine motor skills, technology tools, and kinesthetic learning to deepen understanding.
