Probot angles - What shapes can Probot draw?

Year Groups: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Math, Digital Citizenship

Instructions for Pupils

Work out basic angles to make a shape using Probot to draw it. -use a circle to fold in half and then quarters - explain that there are 360 degrees around the circle. -tear into the centre along one fold. Fold it to show that the angle inside is 90 degrees and the same as a corner on a square or rectangle shape. -program the Probot using 4 turns of 90 degrees to create a square. -experiment with other degrees and numbers of sides to draw other shapes. (Eg; 3 turns of 120 will draw a triangle)
