Make a Family Game! Hello, there kiddos! Everyone, including you, can create a simple race track where you roll a dice and move cars or small objects around the track. And for this week, you are going to make your Family Board Game. Let's begin! 1. Tap add 2. Read and understand the notes on pages 2-4. Watched the video attached on page 3 for some examples and ideas on how to create your board game. 3. This activity has a duration and must be completed in 7 days or one week. It will be submitted on 19 April 2021. Day 1 and 2 ---- Look and study some examples given on page 4. Think of your theme for your family board game. Decide if you want a numbers game, ABC game, word game, strategy game - be creative! Remember to ask all your family members about their ideas. Collaborate! Day 3 and 4 ------ Prepare and make sure materials are all available at home like markers, buttons, popsicles sticks, paper, etc. Materials must be based on your board game. You can draw and decorate your board game. Day 5 and 6 ---- 1. Once you have the theme, start thinking of the steps and what your board game will look like. Design and draw your .board game, and then come up with rules on how to play. Write the rules on a piece of paper. 2.Choose the size of your game by using construction paper, poster board, notebook paper, A4 paper etc 3.Create Challenges and rewards, for example, Go 3 moves forward, hop on one foot, you forgot to tidy your toys you lose a turn. 4.Tap the mic and record the rules of the game. Day 7 -------We would love to know what Family Board Game you have created. But first, kindly fill in the duties of your family members in creating your Family Game Board: Family Why: Creating a board game builds creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Playing board games develop social skills: taking turns, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Great teamwork fam!
