Reading Strategies - Making Inferences - The Animal Games

Inferring is a valuable skill for you to use when engaging with and responding to texts. 1. Click the button and take some time to look closely at the image provided. 2. Using your schema and the clues in the image record what you infer using the tool. Remember to refer back to the questions provided on the instruction page to guide your thinking/answers. 4. Upload your completed work to your journal with the button. Who will win the race between the tortoise, the antelope and the cheetah? Why is the horse upset? What will happen when the rabbit lands? Is the alligator a good gymnast? Why do you think this? What is the rooster thinking? Why do you think this? What will happen next, after the rhinoceros throws the javelin?
