Student Instructions

Look at this crazy hair portrait! Now it's your turn but you are doing it for a classmate! Each of you has been assigned a friend by your teacher and you will create a Crazy Hair Portrait for this friend! You will see your friend's photo in the template - can you see they have no hair! Use your knowledge of the different types of lines to create a crazy hairstyle for your friend! Use vertical, horizontal, diagonal, zig-zag, curved and broken lines to make the crazy hair. You can change the colour, too! Tap pencil pen highlighter glowpen whichever you want to create the crazy hairstyle! Once everyone is done, we will share all the crazy hairstyles on our blog so we can see everyone else's new crazy hairstyle!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

What I did: I uploaded the cropped photo of the child to the template. I wrote the name of the child who is getting the hairstyle on the top of the template and I wrote who designed it under the photo. I recorded a voice message and told the child who they will be making a crazy hairstyle for. I assigned the activity to the child who DESIGNING the hairstyle. I then shared the finished work to the class blog so that the other child can see who made their crazy hairstyle and how it looks. The children were invited to leave voice comments.
