Student Instructions

Watch the instruction video on the first page. Fill out the boxes on each page to match the purple number. In the blue box, use the green 10 sticks and yellow 1 cubes to build the number. In the red boxes, type the number of 10s and 1s in the number. In the green boxes, type the value of the number in the 10s place and the 1s place. Then add them together and type that number in the last box. If you need more 1 cubes or 10 sticks, use the control-c and control-v to copy one of the images that are on the page.

NC.K.NBT.1 Compose and decompose numbers from 11 to 19 into ten ones and some further ones by: Using objects or drawings. Recording each composition or decomposition by a drawing or expression. Understanding that these numbers are composed of ten ones and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
