Teachers, save “Planting a Bean Seed” to assign it to your class.

You will be planting a bean seed today. You will need a small, clear jar, 2 paper towels, a bean seed, and some water. Watch the video, then plant your seed. As you perform each step take a and save to . the pictures to the template. (You should have a picture of the seed before you plant, the jar with the paper towel, the seed, as seen through the jar after you have "planted" it, and what it looks like after you have added water.) Tap then add numbers to the steps and a word for each step. Tap to explain the process of planting your bean. Tap to submit your work. Watch your seed carefully, and don't let it dry out, (don't drown it either!). In about a week you will see your bean plant start to grow. Continue to take pictures until the seed has started to grow roots and a stem. You can add those photos later.
