tool to use either classroom manipulatives or the digital manipulatives provided and create one more, or one less than the number in the middle.
3 On the final page use the clues to work out the middle number.

Children will use tens and ones to make numbers one more or less then the numbers in the middle. They can also use classroom manipulatives such as numicon or arrow cards and use the photo tool to show these representations.
