Student Instructions

Create a code to show the correct order of the life cycle of a pumpkin. What do pumpkins start as? That's where you'll want to start! 1. Touch move. Select a direction arrow to start your code and drag it to the first step of the life cycle. 2. Continue to drag the appropriate arrows and create a path to show the life cycle in order. 3. Tap the mic and share the life cycle of a pumpkin. Use transition words like: first, next, then 🌟 BONUS: Label as many parts of the life cycle as you can using the label tool Go to page 2 and test your knowledge of the πŸŽƒ pumpkin life cycle. Touch the voice button if you need the questions and answers read to you. When you're done, touch check to turn in your work.

This engaging activity has been updated to utilize the infinite cloning tool and assessment tool. You'll find this activity to be a perfect fit while you are studying life cycles, or during October/Fall, or even as an extension of your coding curriculum. Students will work to create a code to move through the stages of a pumpkins life cycle. Once the complete the code, they will use the microphone to share their thinking and as a bonus can also labels each stage. On Page 2 of the activity, students can test their knowledge of the pumpkin life cycle by completing 3 self-checking questions. Scaffolding is provided through voice prompts for your emergent readers
