Student Instructions

Good morning Music Explorers! It is Spring and the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the BEES are ... you guessed it, still buzzing! You might remember the BEE chant but do you remember how the BEE song goes? Listen carefully: Buzz, Buzz, Buzz Buzz Busy Buzzing Bumble-bees Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz Where can all that honey be? We use the same words BUT we switch on our SINGING voices. Try it with me. Can you hear the two main notes we use? One is high and the other is lower. Sing the song again and move your hand low then step up to high when the pitch changes. Today we will use our singing voices to follow the BEES. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Tap arrow and point to the words as you SING the Bee Song. 2. Tap mic: and record yourself SINGING the Bee song. Remember to use your singing voice! 3. Tap move and choose a Bee to follow the ups and downs of the line of flight. 4. Tap mic and make a sound to match the flying of the bee going higher and lower with your voice. 5. Tap mic and say what you liked most about your learning today. 6. Tap add and upload your work to your music folder Have a BEE-utiful time with your music task! Success looks like: * I can listen carefully and learn to sing a simple melody using two notes. * I can sing and record the song all by myself. * I can show my understanding of high and low by using my voice to match a drawing . Extra Challenge Create your own line drawing showing where the bee is going. Use your voice to match the drawing.
