1) In honor of Black History Month, listen to the read aloud book: Mae Jemison 2) On page one of the activity use the tools to draw your favorite part of the read aloud. 3) If you are interested in learning more about Mae or Space check out the Epic! 📚 Collection and watch the video of students 👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓👨‍🎓 asking Dr. Mae Jemison questions. 4) On the blank area of page 4 of the activity make your own rocket 🚀 by using the tool move the shapes. Be as creative as you want and use the tools to draw a background for your rocket. 5) Use the tool to record what you would like to be when you grow up. 6) Turn in your work by clicking on the green button.
