Student Instructions

1) In honor of Black History Month, listen to the read aloud book: Mae Jemison 2) On page one of the activity use the drawing tools to draw your favorite part of the read aloud. 3) If you are interested in learning more about Mae or Space check out the Epic! πŸ“š Collection and watch the video of students πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ asking Dr. Mae Jemison questions. 4) On the blank area of page 4 of the activity make your own rocket πŸš€ by using the move tool move the shapes. Be as creative as you want and use the drawing tools to draw a background for your rocket. 5) Use the mic tool to record what you would like to be when you grow up. 6) Turn in your work by clicking on the green check button.
