Student Instructions
In maths the students have tackled the ‘Sticky Triangles‘ investigation as part of our work on number patterns. The students used matchsticks to create a sequence of small triangles which made up larger triangles. They then explored the relationship between the number of rows, triangles and matchsticks, discovering the various numbers patterns and tried to establish formulas for the relationships between the different numbers.
