Student Instructions

Word Detective - How Many Words Can You Make? 1. Press play and then pause on the video. 2. Use the label tool to record the letters from the video in the box that says "My Letters". 3. Using the 8 letters paused in the video make as many smaller words as you can. 4. Use the label tool to record the words you make in the space provided. 5. Before submitting activity, use the point system provided on the activity page to work out your overall score. 6. Click check Challenge: Can you work out the 8 letter word?

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Note: As the video starts back at the beginning when the students use the label tool, I give them a post-it note or scrap paper to record their letters on before they use the label tool to record the letters paused.
