Student Instructions

Artists can use their artwork to get a response from the person who looks at it. Look at each work of art and find an emoji that best shows how that artwork makes you feel. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Tap the label tool and globe button two times to access the emoji keyboard. 3. Choose one or two school appropriate emojis, tap on the white frame to exit the keyboard and drag your emojis to each artwork (don't check the green check yet!) 4. When you are finished, choose your favorite three and think about why you chose each emoji. 5. Tap the pencil and then go outside to the SeeSaw spot which is the same as your iPad number 6. Click REC when you are ready to explain your thinking, "I chose the worried emoji for the painting with the dark blue and grey clouds because it made me think of a thunderstorm." 7. Press pause while you think of your next answer 8. When you have three responses, tap the green check twice to add it to your journal.
